Like hangman, guess the letters. Like a Crossword, there are words across and down which may provide clues as to the letters where the words intersect.
Choose each new letter from the bottom (right-hand-side in portrait) grid. Correct letters and incorrect letters (in red) are shown.

Proficiency info: Average number of wrong guesses per game is shown. This info does not persist between each new "run" of the game.

Install instructions

How to Install and Play on Android

  1. Download the APK: Click the download button to save app-debug.apk directly to your Android device. (If downloading on your PC, transfer the file to your phone via USB or cloud storage).
  2. Open the File: Tap the downloaded APK file in your device's downloads folder or notification bar.
  3. Allow Installation: If prompted, grant your browser or file manager permission to install apps from unknown sources (standard for indie games outside the Play Store).
  4. Play: Tap Install, open Crossman, and enjoy your 2x2 interlocking word puzzle!

Note: This is an indie Android APK release designed for direct sideloading.
